Daily Intention: For the conversion of souls and reparation for sins committed against the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer (to be said each day):
O Adorable Jesus, whose Holy Face reflects the infinite love and mercy of God, we come before You with humble hearts. Turn Your gaze upon us and hear our prayers. In Your sorrowful Passion, You bore the wounds of our sins upon Your Holy Face. Grant us the grace of true repentance, a burning love for You, and a steadfast spirit to console Your wounded Heart. May the light of Your countenance shine upon us and lead us ever closer to You.
(Mention your intention.)
Amen.
Day 1: The Radiance of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.” (Matthew 17:2, cf.)
Prayer:
O Jesus, whose Holy Face shone with divine radiance upon the Mount of Transfiguration, fill our hearts with the light of Your truth and grace. As we gaze upon Your countenance, may we recognize Your glory hidden beneath the veil of suffering. Teach us to seek Your presence in the Blessed Sacrament and adore You with unwavering faith. Purify our hearts, that we may reflect Your light to the world and draw souls to Your merciful love. Amen.
Day 2: The Wounds of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “I gave my back to those who struck me, and my cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I hid not my face from disgrace and spitting.” (Isaiah 50:6, cf.)
Prayer:
O Adorable Jesus, whose Holy Face was struck and bruised during Your Passion, we honor the marks of Your suffering and the love that bore them. Help us to embrace the crosses of our lives with patience and trust. In each wound on Your Holy Face, may we find a reminder of Your boundless mercy. Strengthen us to offer reparation for sins committed against Your Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament and to console Your sorrowful Heart. Amen.
Day 3: The Blood of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” (Luke 22:44, cf.)
Prayer:
O Jesus, whose Holy Face was bathed in blood from the cruel thorns pressed upon Your brow, we bow before You in sorrow and love. The precious blood that flowed from Your wounds is the price of our redemption. May we never take for granted the sacrifice You made for our salvation. Help us to offer daily acts of reparation for blasphemies against Your Holy Name and the offenses against Your Real Presence. Fill our hearts with a burning desire to defend Your honor and to bring others to Your merciful embrace. Amen.
Day 4: The Pain of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.” (Isaiah 53:3, cf.)
Prayer:
O Adorable Jesus, whose Holy Face bore the agony of rejection and betrayal, we come to console You. In the pain etched upon Your countenance, we see the depth of Your love for souls. Strengthen us to endure suffering for Your sake and to offer it for the conversion of sinners. May our love for You shine through our sacrifices, drawing others to repentance and faith. Let the sorrow of Your Holy Face inspire us to live lives of holiness and reparation. Amen.
Day 5: The Compassion of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd.” (Mark 6:34, cf.)
Prayer:
O Jesus, whose Holy Face turned with compassion upon Veronica as she wiped away Your blood and sweat, look upon us with the same mercy. Help us to be instruments of Your love, wiping away the sorrows of others through our prayers and sacrifices. Teach us to see Your image in every soul, and to serve You by serving our brothers and sisters. May the beauty of Your Holy Face inspire us to acts of charity and bring healing to wounded hearts. Amen.
Day 6: The Humility of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “Learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29, cf.)
Prayer:
O Adorable Jesus, whose Holy Face was spat upon and insulted, yet remained silent, grant us the grace of humility. Teach us to bear insults and humiliations for Your sake, offering them in union with Your Passion. May we never seek the praise of others but desire only to reflect Your humble love. Help us to make reparation for the pride and arrogance that grieve Your Heart. Let Your meekness be our strength as we strive to follow You. Amen.
Day 7: The Light of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6, cf.)
Prayer:
O Jesus, whose Holy Face is the light of the world, shine upon us and dispel the darkness of sin and doubt. May the radiance of Your countenance fill our souls with peace and hope. Guide us along the path of righteousness, and let the glow of Your love lead us to eternal life. Inspire us to bring Your light to those in spiritual darkness, so that all may come to know, love, and adore You. Amen.
Day 8: The Consolation of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.” (Isaiah 66:13, cf.)
Prayer:
O Adorable Jesus, whose Holy Face brought consolation to the women of Jerusalem as they wept for You, console us in our sorrows. Turn Your gentle gaze upon those who suffer, and grant them the comfort of Your presence. Help us to console Your wounded Heart by offering our sufferings for the salvation of souls. May the image of Your Holy Face strengthen us in times of trial and draw us ever closer to Your merciful Heart. Amen.
Day 9: The Glory of His Holy Face
Bible Verse: “They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.” (Revelation 22:4, cf.)
Prayer:
O Jesus, whose Holy Face will shine in glory at the final judgment, grant us the grace to remain faithful to You until the end. May we one day gaze upon Your radiant countenance in Heaven, where all pain and sorrow will be no more. Until that day, strengthen us to live lives of reparation and holiness, always seeking to console You and bring others to Your merciful embrace. Let the vision of Your Holy Face be our hope and our joy. Amen.
Closing Prayer (to be said each day):
Oh Jesus, most humble, adorable, present in the Blessed Sacrament of your Divine Love. Here on your concealed Sacred throne, I prostate my soul and whole self before you. Out of my nothingness and sins, I implore you to accept my poor prayers, acts of reparation and adoration to quench your thirst for souls and obtain full pardon for the many profanations, ungratefulness and outrages which you receive each and every moment from the countless number of us miserable sinners.
It was your everlasting Mercy towards mankind that moved you so deeply to the point of veiling yourself to remain in love on our altars and Tabernacles all over the earth.
Oh Jesus, by your Soul, Body and Divinity, present in the most Holy Eucharist, accept the tears of my soul that these very precious souls to you (mention here the names of those you wish to pray for) may not lose their Eternity forever.
The everlasting ages belong to You. So we entrust our total selves in Your loving care and gaze, now in life and death.
AMEN
