Opening Prayer (to be said each day):

O wonderful St. Anthony, glorious on account of the fame of your miracles, and through the condescension of Jesus in coming in the form of a little child to rest in your arms, obtain for us of His bounty the graces which we ardently desire from the depths of our hearts [mention intentions here]
You who were so compassionate toward miserable sinners, regard not our unworthiness, but the glory of God, that it may once again be magnified by the granting of the particular requests which we now ask for with persevering earnestness.
Amen.

Day 1 – St. Anthony, Comforter of the Afflicted

Scripture Reading
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28–29

May his intercession bring us the peace of Christ, and may we learn to be instruments of that peace for others.

The answer to our prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the Saint of miracles. O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper our petitions into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms. The gratitude of our hearts will always be yours. Amen.
