NOVENA TO THE PASSION OF OUR ADORABLE JESUS

Daily Intention: For the conversion of souls and reparation for sins committed against the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer (to be said each day):

O our Adorable Jesus, You walk amidst the milling crowds with Your Sacred Head bowed, bearing the thorns and lashes of a world that has abandoned You. Your tears of blood fall unceasingly, but mankind does not see. Blinded by passing goods, deceived by the Red Lucifer’s fury, and consumed by monstrous corruption, souls hasten toward destruction while Your Sacred Heart suffers untold agony. O Crucified Love, You remain imprisoned in the Tabernacle, hidden and unwanted, longing for souls who no longer seek You. Your graces pile up, waiting for those who would ask, yet so few turn to You, while the enemy prowls, sweeping countless souls into eternal ruin.

Lord, we are here! Though weak and unworthy, we entreat You with faith. We want to console You, to be living tabernacles of love, to remain with You in the desolation of Gethsemane, in the silence of Your Eucharistic prison, and in the agony of Your Passion. Accept our prayers and sacrifices as an offering of reparation. We lay before You our petitions, trusting in Your boundless mercy.

(Mention your intentions)

O Divine Prisoner, teach us to love You with unwavering fidelity. Let us not be indifferent as the world turns away. In this urgent hour, when evil rages and souls perish, may we be found watching and praying, clinging to Your Cross with steadfast hearts.

O Sorrowful Mother, who shared in the Passion of Your Son, hold us close, that we may never abandon Him. Obtain for us the grace to persevere in faith, to console His wounded Heart, and to remain at the foot of the Cross with You. Amen.

Day 1: The Agony in Gethsemane – The Weight of Mankind’s Sins

Bible Verse:
“My soul is sorrowful unto death; remain here and watch with Me.” (cf. Matthew 26:38)

Reflection

Our Adorable Jesus, kneeling in the Garden, was crushed under the weight of the world’s sins. He saw the souls who would reject Him, the countless sins of mankind, the indifference of those He loved. He wept tears of blood, yet even His closest disciples could not stay awake with Him. Today, He continues to suffer, as souls abandon Him for the empty promises of the world. Have we kept watch with Him? Have we consoled Him by living in love and reparation?

Prayer

O Jesus, we esteem Your tears shed for mankind, each drop a testimony of Your boundless love. In Your agony, You bent over humanity, seeking consolation, yet found none. The weight of our sins pressed heavily upon You, yet You did not turn away. The Red Lucifer prowls, deceiving souls, blinding them with perishing goods, leading them into monstrous corruption. You are left alone, Your Real Presence ignored, Your love despised. O Lord, we do not want to be among those who forget You! Strengthen us to console You in Your suffering, to stand firm against the temptations of the world, and to never abandon You in Your hour of need.

In reparation for those who scorn Your love, for those who betray You with indifference, and for those who deny Your Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, as You weep over mankind, and may we live each moment in the light of Your redeeming Passion. Amen.

Day 2: The Betrayal and Arrest – The Ingratitude of Souls

Bible Verse:
“Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” (cf. Luke 22:48)

Reflection

A kiss, a sign of love, became the mark of betrayal. How deeply this wounded the Heart of Jesus! Yet even today, He is betrayed—by those who profess His name but live in sin, by those who abandon Him for the world, by those who refuse His love. He remains in the Tabernacle, waiting for those who will console Him, but so few come. The Red Lucifer has darkened hearts, and multitudes fall into his net. Will we stand with Jesus in faithfulness, or will we, too, abandon Him?

Prayer

O Jesus, how painful was the kiss of betrayal, the sign of false love that delivered You into the hands of sinners! You are still betrayed—by those who call themselves Yours but refuse to love You, by those who profane Your Holy Name, by those who reject Your mercy and choose the fleeting pleasures of sin. Your graces are piling up, waiting to be received, but the world does not ask for them. The Red Lucifer makes sweeping conquests, stealing souls away into eternal darkness. O Lord, we do not want to be among those who betray You! Grant us the grace to be faithful, to remain steadfast in love, and to never abandon You.

In reparation for those who profane Your Real Presence, for those who call You Lord yet do not obey You, and for those who live as if You had never died for them, we offer You our sorrow and love. May we never be deceived by passing earthly goods, never be swept away by the Red Lucifer’s snares. Let us hold fast to You, O Jesus, and live each day as if it were our last, never turning away from the infinite love You have shown us. Amen.

Day 3: The Scourging at the Pillar – The World’s Rejection of Christ

Bible Verse:
“He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities.” (cf. Isaiah 53:5)

Reflection

Bound to the pillar, our Adorable Jesus was scourged without mercy. His flesh was torn, His Blood poured out, yet He remained silent. The world, which He came to save, repaid Him with cruelty. Today, Jesus is scourged again—by blasphemies, by the desecration of His Real Presence, by the sins that pierce His Sacred Body. Mankind, blinded by monstrous corruption, rejects His love and rushes toward destruction. Will we remain indifferent, or will we stand as souls of reparation, offering love where He is despised?

Prayer

O Jesus, bound to the pillar, scourged and torn, how deep is Your love that endures such cruelty! Yet today, the world continues to scourge You—rejecting Your commandments, trampling upon Your Real Presence, despising the very Blood You shed for its salvation. Mankind rushes into the snares of the Red Lucifer, deceived by perishing goods, indifferent to the cries of Your wounded Heart. But we do not want to be among those who forget You! Grant us the grace to stand as living tabernacles of reparation, to console You where You are ignored, to offer love where You are rejected.

In reparation for the blasphemies spoken against You, for the sacrileges that wound Your Real Presence, and for the sins of impurity that defile souls, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, in the silence of Your suffering. May we embrace all trials as an offering of love, and may we never turn away from You in fear or weakness. Amen.

Day 4: The Crowning with Thorns – The Mockery of Truth

Bible Verse:
“They clothed Him in a purple cloak and, twisting a crown of thorns, they put it on Him.” (cf. Mark 15:17)

Reflection

The soldiers mocked our Adorable Jesus, pressing a crown of thorns upon His Sacred Head. They laughed at Him, spat upon Him, striking Him in contempt. Today, the world continues to mock Jesus—denying His truth, rejecting His Church, glorifying sin while ridiculing holiness. His warnings go unheeded, His pleas ignored, as mankind plunges deeper into darkness. The Red Lucifer blinds souls with lies, making them believe sin has no consequence. But Jesus waits for those who will stand with Him, those who will love Him and defend His truth.

Prayer

O Jesus, crowned with thorns, scorned and mocked, how deep is Your sorrow as You behold mankind rejecting You! Your truth is trampled underfoot, Your warnings dismissed, and Your pleas unanswered. The world has crowned itself with pride, choosing its own ways over Your divine law. Yet, You remain patient, longing for souls to return to You. O Lord, we do not want to be among those who mock You! Strengthen us to be steadfast in truth, to defend Your name, and to never shrink back in fear.

In reparation for those who deny Your kingship, for those who reject Your Church, and for those who glorify sin and mock Your law, we offer You our love. May we bear every insult and trial for Your sake, embracing suffering as a means of reparation. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, as You are crowned with thorns, and may we never exchange Your truth for the lies of the world. Amen.

Day 5: The Carrying of the Cross – The Weight of Rejected Love

Bible Verse:
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.” (cf. Luke 9:23)

Reflection

Weighed down by the Cross, our Adorable Jesus struggled forward, step by step, as the crowds jeered. He carried not only the wood but the burden of every sin, every rejection of His love. Today, mankind rejects His Cross, choosing comfort over sacrifice, self-indulgence over holiness. The Red Lucifer offers false freedom, deceiving souls into abandoning the narrow road of salvation. But Jesus calls us to walk with Him, to embrace our crosses, to be souls of reparation who lighten the weight of His suffering.

Prayer

O Jesus, bearing the Cross, rejected and despised, how often You call but are not heard, how often You love but are not loved! You carry the weight of mankind’s sins, yet so many turn away, refusing to suffer with You, rejecting the way of the Cross. The world rushes into the abyss, refusing to acknowledge its need for redemption. But we do not want to be among those who abandon You! Strengthen us to walk with You, to bear our crosses with love, to console You in Your sorrow.

In reparation for those who reject the Cross, for those who seek only pleasure and flee from suffering, and for those who refuse the call to holiness, we offer You our sacrifices. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, as You walk the road to Calvary, and may we never shrink from suffering when it is united with Yours. Amen.

Day 6: The Crucifixion – The Silence of God’s Love

Bible Verse:
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (cf. Luke 23:34)

Reflection

Nailed to the Cross, our Adorable Jesus was lifted up, suspended between heaven and earth. The crowds mocked Him, the soldiers gambled for His garments, and even in His agony, He was despised. Yet, in the silence of His suffering, He spoke only words of love: “Father, forgive them.” Today, Jesus is still crucified—by the sins of mankind, by the rejection of His mercy, by the silence of those who should defend Him. Will we leave Him alone, or will we stand at the foot of the Cross with love?

Prayer

O Jesus, crucified in silence, wounded and despised, how much You have suffered for the souls You love! Yet, the world continues to crucify You—rejecting Your mercy, trampling upon Your grace, and living as if You had never died for them. The Red Lucifer tightens his grip upon mankind, leading souls into ruin, while Your voice is drowned out by the noise of sin. But we do not want to be among those who abandon You! Strengthen us to stand with You, to remain faithful even in the midst of suffering, to love You where You are despised.

In reparation for those who reject Your mercy, for those who mock Your sacrifice, and for those who silence Your truth, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, at the foot of the Cross, and may we never be indifferent to the price of our redemption. Amen.

Day 7: The Death of Jesus – The Price of Our Redemption

Bible Verse:
“It is finished.” (cf. John 19:30)

Reflection

As our Adorable Jesus breathed His last, the earth trembled, the sky darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. The price of our redemption had been paid, yet mankind continues to live as if His sacrifice means nothing. The world has forgotten the cost of sin. The Red Lucifer, in his fury, leads souls to mock the very Blood that was shed for them, blinding them to the urgency of repentance. But Jesus’ death is not in vain for those who love Him. Will we remain indifferent, or will we offer Him the love He longs for?

Prayer

O Jesus, dying upon the Cross, rejected even in Your final agony, how many still refuse the salvation You purchased with Your Blood! You gave all, yet mankind responds with indifference, with rebellion, with coldness toward Your love. The world moves further into darkness, deaf to Your voice, blind to Your mercy. But we do not want to be among those who turn away! Strengthen us to live as souls of reparation, to console You by our love, to embrace our sufferings as an offering for those who reject You.

In reparation for those who profane Your sacrifice, for those who refuse to repent, and for those who live as if Your death were meaningless, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, as You give Your final breath for love of us. May we never forget the price of our redemption, but live each day in the light of Your Cross. Amen.

Day 8: The Piercing of Jesus’ Heart – The Wound of Rejected Love

Bible Verse:
“One of the soldiers pierced His side with a lance, and immediately blood and water flowed out.” (cf. John 19:34)

Reflection

Even after death, our Adorable Jesus was wounded once more—a lance driven into His Sacred Side, opening His Heart to pour out the last drops of His love. This was the final act of a world that had already rejected Him, a world that continues to reject Him today. The Red Lucifer stalks the earth, leading souls into monstrous corruption, lulling them into spiritual death. But the Heart of Jesus remains open, longing for those who will come to Him, who will make reparation for those who pierce Him anew. Will we be among them?

Prayer

O Jesus, pierced by a lance, Your Heart torn open, how much more must You endure from an ungrateful world! You offer grace upon grace, yet souls reject You. You wait in the prison of the Tabernacle, yet few come to console You. The sins of mankind increase, and the world crumbles under its own corruption. But we do not want to be among those who wound You! Strengthen us to remain faithful, to seek refuge in Your open Heart, to love You as You deserve.

In reparation for those who profane Your Real Presence, for those who reject Your love, and for those who crucify You anew with their sins, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, hidden in the wound of Your Heart. May we be faithful even when the world turns against You, and may we live only for You. Amen.

Day 9: The Burial of Jesus – The Silence of Divine Love

Bible Verse:
“They took the body of Jesus and wrapped it in linen cloths and laid Him in a tomb.” (cf. John 19:40)

Reflection

As our Adorable Jesus was placed in the tomb, the world seemed to have triumphed over Him. But even in death, He remained victorious. Today, mankind continues to bury Jesus—casting aside His commandments, silencing His truth, living as if He were not the Lord of all. The Red Lucifer deceives souls into believing they can live without God, that they can build a world without Him. But the tomb was not the end. Will we be among those who forget Him, or will we keep watch, awaiting His triumph?

Prayer

O Jesus, laid in the tomb, rejected by the world You came to save, how much sorrow fills Your Heart as mankind continues to turn away from You! Your name is cast aside, Your truth silenced, Your love buried beneath the weight of sin. But we do not want to be among those who forget You! Strengthen us to remain faithful, to wait in hope, to love You even when the world mocks and despises You.

In reparation for those who live as if You were dead, for those who refuse to acknowledge Your dominion, and for those who seek to erase Your truth from the earth, we offer You our hearts. Let us remain with You, O Jesus, in the silence of Your tomb, awaiting the glory of Your resurrection. May we never lose hope, but trust always in the victory of Your love. Amen.

Closing Prayer (to be said each day):

O Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother, how much anguish fills your Heart as you behold the rebellion of mankind! You stood at the foot of the Cross, offering your Son to the Eternal Father, yet the world has not ceased to crucify Him anew. You see souls falling into the abyss, blinded by sin and deceived by the Red Lucifer’s snares. O Mother, how deep is your sorrow as you watch your children abandon the path of grace! We come to you, O Mother, with contrite hearts, seeking refuge beneath your mantle. Take us into your Heart, as you took the beloved disciple, and form us into souls of reparation. Let not our prayers and sacrifices be in vain, but hasten the triumph of your Immaculate Heart in a world darkened by sin.

O Mother of the Eucharist, we entrust to you this novena, our prayers, and our hearts. Present them to your Son, that He may pour out His mercy before the hour of justice strikes. Teach us to remain with Jesus, to be vigilant in prayer, to console Him in His Eucharistic solitude. May we never abandon Him as so many have done, but remain faithful until the end. O Mother, be our guide, our strength, and our consolation, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
